PhotoDemon includes a dedicated Perspective Transformation tool. The tool supports two modes: forward transforms, which apply a new perspective to an image, and reverse transforms, which fix or correct an existing perspective you may not want.
In forward transform mode, you draw a new quadrilateral (four-sided object), and the program automatically fits the image to that shape. In reverse transform mode, you trace a part of the image – typically the part of the image that should be facing head-on – and the software automatically restores it to a proper perspective.
Like other distortion tools in the program, five options are provided for dealing with off-canvas pixels (clamp, erase, ignore, reflect, wrap). A dedicated Quality option uses bilinear interpolation to further improve the quality of the final image.
Finally, like all PhotoDemon tools, a dedicated command bar allows you to save and load custom presets, randomize parameters, and reset to default values. Last-used settings are automatically saved and restored, and all changes provide a real-time preview (no click or mouse button release required).
